INTRODUCTION

It’s been a great third quarter for Intellian. As the world cautiously unlocks and nations come to grips with managing the pandemic and its effects, we’ve been delighted to make some outstanding new partnerships and reaffirm established ones. Just last week we announced our new SES partnership which is the culmination of fantastic collaboration and this morning at Kormarine, we proudly unveiled our new Inmarsat FleetBroadband 250 and Fleet One terminals to the world.

We’re delighted to expand our L-Band portfolio, and deliver the engineering excellence we’re renowned for to FleetBroadband customers. Available to buy now, our terminals will bring an advanced user experience to primary users through new features and capabilities, whilst the FB250 will also enhance our Fleet Xpress offering, combining with our GX60NX and GX100NX to create a future-proof FX solution.

Satellite 2021 proved a great start to our show season, with our US team able to meet many of our key industry colleagues and customers. We’ll be attending multiple shows and conferences all over the world in the coming months and look forward to meeting you there

This year has been a busy one for Intellian real estate investments. Our European team moved into their new Headquarters in Rotterdam in July, just a few weeks after we announced the opening of our expanded R&D facilities in Korea. We’re also hard at work setting up an R&D facility in Maryland, USA, which is exclusively focused on emerging technologies and will be the crucible for multiple exciting product announcements going forward.

As we move forward into Q4 and beyond, we’re proud to be at the leading edge of one of the fastest developing areas of global communications. Innovation by Intellian, teamed with rapid growth of global satellite provision, is changing the way we connect: our mission is to empower that change for all.

THE WORLD'S NEWEST FLEETBROADBAND TERMINALS

Today we officially launched our new FB250 and Fleet One L-band terminals, for operation on Inmarsat’s innovation catalyst L-band network, ELERA.
The FB250 is a multi-functional terminal, either acting as a stand-alone primary communications terminal or combining with Intellian’s market-leading GX60NX and GX100NX to create the perfect Fleet Xpress (FX) solution. The Fleet One terminal provides an easy-to-install, reliable voice and data solution, ideal for smaller fishing and leisure vessels.

SES mPOWER PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

We're delighted to announce that following a successful co-development phase, Intellian has entered into an agreement with leading content and connectivity satellite service provider SES to supply user terminals for SES’s high performance O3b mPOWER communications system. The terminals, ranging in size from 85cm to 2.4m, will deliver low latency, high bandwidth connectivity at speeds ranging from tens of megabits to multiple gigabits per second to customers across land, maritime and government markets around the world.

OUR FIRST FLAT PANEL ANTENNA!

The OW1 is our first flat-panel antenna, following years of investment in R&D, expanding our comprehensive OneWeb portfolio. Available from October 2022, this product marks an exciting milestone with OneWeb, delivering another unique Intellian user terminal. The new OW1 antenna will address new markets and requirements with a high bandwidth and low latency user experience to enable business growth, empower education and support the delivery of critical services in communities on a global scale.

NX WINS AT SUPERYACHT TECHNOLOGY AWARDS

At the Superyacht Technology Awards on Thursday, we were honored to win the prestigous Best Hardware category for our NX Series. Satellite networks are rapidly evolving and owners, engineers and fleet managers across the maritime world, rightly demand that antennas should not only provide optimal connectivity now, but continue to maintain that level of service as new satellite services are launched. Our NX Series is ready to utilize high-throughput services as they come online, future-proofing customer's terminal investments.

HUMANITARIAN CASE STUDY

The increasing bandwidth demands by Mercy Ships and changing needs of the organization resulted in the need to upgrade the antennas on board their hospital vessel Africa Mercy, and ensure future-proof connectivity for their new sister ship Global Mercy. Intellian’s v240M 2 and v240MT 2 antennas will deliver high speed data to meet the organization’s cloud based administrative and diagnostic needs.

We’re delighted to once again be able to meet customers and partners in person, where safe to do so. It's well overdue! Intellian will attend several leading shows in 2021, including, Kormarine, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, METSTRADE, Pacific Marine Expo, the International Workboat Show and Marintec China.

LONG TERM COMMITMENT TO EUROPE

Intellian’s future is global, and our investment in offices, R&D facilities and logistics centers across the world is testament to that vision. Latest to open is our €6.5m state-of-the-art headquarters and logistics center in Rotterdam, housing an expanding 35-strong team, together with enhanced training and product testing facilities to support our operations in Europe.
